This is definitely our second most asked question.
(If you want to see the answer to our #1 asked question, click here.)
Setting realistic expectations is important with the current market conditions and supply chain struggles. So, here’s what you need to know.
In most cases, our actual build times have extended from 8 months to approximately 1 year. This is largely thanks to the challenges presented by the global pandemic.
Factoring in other aspects—such as the design process, agreeing on the budget proposal, signing contracts, securing funds with a lender, and navigating the permitting process—from start to certificate of occupancy can take up to 18 months.
We understand that this may FEEL like a very slow crawl, but we believe in transparency and want you to be informed every step of the way.
Our team has implemented several new creative strategies to mitigate the challenges the current circumstances pose.
- We order materials well in advance of needing them. This ensures that we have everything on hand when the time comes.
- Scheduling is carefully planned in advance. This allows us to allocate resources and labor efficiently.
- We engage with our clients early on to get a head start on selections. This ensures a smooth process as we move forward.
And thanks to our long-standing SOLID relationships with subcontractors, we have priority on our projects.
We aim to make the entire journey as seamless and stress-free as possible. We pride ourselves on our friendly and informative approach, working closely with you to understand your vision and create a home that reflects your unique style and needs.
While the timeline may be longer than it used to be, we firmly believe that the end result will be worth the wait. We are committed to delivering a home you’ll cherish for years to come, and we appreciate your patience and trust throughout this process.
