WALK-THROUGH PRIOR TO DRYWALL
Prior to installing drywall, you & our construction manager will meet at your new home for a complete walk-thru to make sure we have not missed anything from the blueprints or the construction specifications. This also provides you an opportunity to consider modifications or additional specifications prior to drywall.

NEW HOME ORIENTATION INSPECTION
Prior to closing, you and our construction manager will meet at your new home for an orientation and inspection. The purpose of this meeting is to familiarize you with the features of your new home, how the systems and equipment work, how to properly maintain the various fine finishes and identify any cosmetic defects that need to be corrected prior to your move. Repair of subsequent cosmetic damages (chips, dents, scratches, etc.) is considered to be your responsibility after you move in.

CORRECTION OF ORIENTATION INSPECTION PUNCHLIST
We will make every effort to correct all items on the orientation punch list within thirty (30) days. Sometimes subcontractors need to be scheduled or materials need to be ordered, in which case you should expect completion within forty-five (45) days unless access to your home is difficult to schedule.

60-DAY FOLLOW UP SERVICE
As you settle into your new home you may discover items that may require customer service. We like to minimize the number of visits our workers make into your home once occupied, so we ask that you keep a cumulative list of attention items so that we can send a Westmont employee to your home and correct everything at once. This system is very important for us to be able to provide top quality service for everyone. You are provided with 60-day Service Request Forms, which we ask you to fill out and send in to our office. Requests for service must be in writing. ONLY REPORTS OF EMERGENCY ITEMS CAN BE TAKEN OVER THE PHONE. We consider emergency items those which make the home uninhabitable, such as plumbing, heating, electrical, security problems, etc. We will provide you with emergency phone numbers for these related trades.

ELEVEN MONTH WARRANTY SERVICE
Because your warranty period expires one (1) year from closing, we like to get a head start on year-end requests. We have provided you with 11-Month Request Forms, which we ask you to use in exactly the same manner as the 60-day forms.

POST WARRANTY SERVICE
We will assist you in resolving any service issues that may arise after the end of your warranty period. Please feel free to contact us and we will do our best to point you in the right direction.
